Painted Desert

Well, we're back to electricity (but minimal internet), so I'll try to get a few more posts up. We spent most of two days in the Painted Desert/Petrified Forest National park in eastern AZ. It's all one park, the painted desert views are in the north, and most of the petrified trees are in the south. We started at the north end, hiked several trails. The colors are unreal.
